The endlessly talented Augusta from Camp Stitchwood asked me to dye her some yarn for the Purl Scout Sash pattern she was working on. Of course, I was more than delighted to oblige! The Purl Scout Sash pattern requires 426 yards for a 60" sash. You'll need (2) skeins of August Fog to make this sash. This listing does not include the pattern.

August Fog is naturally dyed in the late summer months only. It consists of Rose Mallow blossoms and walnuts. Each dye lot comes out differently depending on when the flowers are harvested, how hot or rainy they bloomed, and other factors. Typically a blue/green and brown tonal vibe reminds us of early foggy mornings in August here in the mountains.
